The above container is 200 ml of pure agarwood oil. It takes hundred of kilo of infected wood to distill. The scent is pleasant, enjoyable once the cap open. You could smell it literally from metres away

This above image is 1 kg bag of wood chip. To smell it, you have to stay close (a few centimetre between the bag and your nose). The fragrance is present but not as strong as the oil. It is only 15g of wood containing some infected part only,  seen as pattern. To detect its smell in room temperature without heating or stored in a close container, it is a challenging task. So, the next time you buy a genuine agarwood bracelet, choose your trust supplier as agarwood beads are one of the most difficult task to verify. Having said that, oil-submerged beads are easily detectable, often seen as their solid black or brown colour. They smell strong and the agarwood oil used is mixed with different herbs to create scent. Genuine beads contains natural pattern NOT single/ solid colour.
